Hello All, I would like to put my review in two parts: 1. Engagement Photo Shoot, 2. Wedding. As of now my Fiance and I have received our Engagement Photos so this review is going to be based on that.

I found Christine on http://Yelp.com and how I found her was search for “Wedding Photography” in L.A. and sorted it by listing only 5-star ratings. From that I found a few photographers and sent out emails to all of them and they replied with their pricing/packages/examples… Christine (Lark Wedding Photography) offered a modest package; I encourage you to at least contact her and you will know what I am referencing.

Our meeting was very relaxed, and appreciated the no-stress environment that she provided for us.

SIDE NOTE: Just to let you know I am the Groom and for all the other Grooms out there you will appreciate how easy it is to work with this photographer after possibly working with crazy caterers and florists.. what the heck are peonies, and how much??

We met in the Mid-Wilshire area to discuss the wedding, and the engagement shoots. If you haven’t had a chance to think about where you wanted to get your pictures taken, then Christine (with her broad perspective and experience) is able to give you ideas to think about and stem off of.

She has a skill (not a gift, because a gift needs honing, and a skill is a gift that has been honed) at capturing NATURAL SHOTS… not cheesy posed photos that look awkwardly uncomfortable for the couple. Trust me, I’ve seen them, and you know what I’m talking about… The photos were unique, magazine cover action shots, artistic, creative… her pictures are…. 1,000 words. (slight pun intended) but seriously she is the real deal and you need to contact her to know what I am talking about. I can only testify to my experience with her, which was very successful.

Engagement shoot was done in two locations Angel’s Knoll Park (500 Days of Summer Bench area) and at the LACMA. She is versatile with locations and willing. And most importantly a supporter of the couple and their special day.

I’ll be back after my honeymoon to rate the wedding.
